Notice that in this thread - Redietz runs off and refuses to answer questions. Just give us the link to the $200 value that he offered up and see if there were any strings attached that would suggest some affiliate relationship. If my memory is wrong enough and he gave the website and opportunity directly then yes, there is no reason to suggest he was an affiliate.
