"half his wealth" comment? Both Forbes and Bloomberg has lists of billionaires worth each year and both have reported that Donald Trump's net worth has more than doubled in the last 12 months? And all of that has really occurred in the last 6 months since the election. Are Bloomberg and Forbes liberal rags not up to your standards?
I had a great year last year mickeycrimm. My top 2 years ever. But guess what? I didn't come close to doubling my wealth. Maybe it increased 10%...haven't figured it out.
And I strongly doubt any other member of this forum has doubled their wealth in the last 12 months.
I hope you had a great year as well, mickeycrimm. But if you did, it was due to mickeycrimm and his hard work, and had little to do with Donald Trump.
You can say whatever you want but this increase in Trumps wealth was due to the presidency. He is literally selling the presidency and access to the presidency. There is an argument to be made that all presidents have done this to some extend, but not like this guy!
You can admire Trump. Agree with his political positions, immigration and so forth. You can admire his business model (I don't because I know or knew people hurt by him when he didn't pay what was owed). But deep down you have to know that Donald J Trump does what is best for Donald J Trump. Not for anyone else.
