From what I gathered, Issac Dulgarian went from -280 to -130 in less than 24 hours. First round submission dropped from + 850 to only +400 in a matter of hours.
Before the fight, Dana White was contacted by IC360, a bet monitoring service, which warned him that there was some unusual betting activity on ssac Dulgarian. According to Dana White, he called the fighter and his lawyer and said, "What's going on, there's some weird action on your fight. Are you injured? Do you owe anybody money? Has anybody approached you? According to Dana White, who he referred to the fighter as the kid, said, "NO, I'm going to kill this guy"
After Issac's poor take-down attempt, the fight ends quickly in the first round as his opponent puts him in an uncontested rear-naked choke.
It's important to note the uncontested part, as it should be 2nd nature for a fighter to peel the arm down. Even according to the commentator(Michael Chiesa), as the fight was in progress, his opponent's top hand was right there for the taking.
Dana White claims he immediately contacted the FBI.
For now, he's innocent until proven guilty; however, it's looking really bad considering the unusual betting activity that correlated with what happened and the ultra-poor performance by Issac Dulgarian.
Apparently, some of the books took down the line due to the heavy movement, and some of the bigger books have even refunded losing tickets on this fight.
I sure would like to be able to tap into these bet monitoring services.
