This is true, but Dawg is not dropping as much of his daddy's money as he pretends and wants people to believe. He does gamble and lose, but just not as large as he claims. He is "associated with" for lack of a better term with some other players (family or other association) that does bet very big and Dawg benefits from that association and gets and uses bigger and more comps than his play earns him
Credit to Axelwolf who figured this out very early on. Dan Druff also came to this conclusion fairly early, saying something like
dawg bets big, but not as big as he wants people to believe.
And I know it for a fact having on two occasions seen his actual records of play. Take the 7 month period for example when Dawg claimed to have won millions, while living in comped suites for 7 straight months, that Wizard forced dawg to come clean on. Dawgs actual records for that period showed just about a 100k loss.
100k loss is not enough to get a player comped suite and meals for 7 months. So he was using comped earned by someone else, playing (and probably losing) much bigger. Maybe Daddy. Maybe some other relative. Maybe some other person he is associated with, like someone that he sells watches to.
