It's interesting that you mention that, V. Yes still in Tahoe. No, I never left the house yesterday. However, I actually did get quite a lot of work done. I wrote up a loan doc related contract for a client, I worked on a defense for another client, a plaintiff's litigation for another, and I did some stock trades for myself. On and off through the day I was making phone calls and such.
But when the day ended, I was mindful of that a fair amount of time had been spent on MDawg's thread at WOV and the same here at VCT. It was rather breathtaking how much time and energy were put into The Adventures of MDawg, et. al. yesterday.
Put it this way, if you looked over my phone call list, email list and billing ledger for yesterday, you wouldn't think that I had done anything more than worked all day.
There is one major project I have been putting off, and that involves going painstakingly through two depositions plus their submitted corrections and I need to deal with those, lest I end up like most attorneys (I am generally not that way) of doing everything related to that matter last minute. I've been putting that off partly until return to southern Cal because there I have my multiple screen computer systems set up while up here I'm limited to just working off a laptop. This house is comparatively threadbare we're not up here much.
