Thread: Bob Dietz' Coming Appeararance On PokerFraudAlert Radio

  1. #1
We know that Todd Witteles has said he would have redietz on PFA radio. Redietz agreed to be on the show. But that was a couple of years ago and there is no movement. So now we have a thread about it to expedite the situation.

Everything about redietz coming appearance can be discussed right here between Witteles and Bob Dietz. They can negotiate the date and time and questions to be asked.

So have at it, guys. Who wants to go first, Witteles or redietz?

Druff, let us know when you receive redietz’ credit score.

Mickey must have checked with Munchkin vis-a-vis GWAE. LOL. So we are on to this as an alternate plan. Splendid.

Fear not. I'll go first. I'd prefer to do it in LV, whether in person or via live cam or whatever. But I can be talked into doing it from here in Tennessee...if mickey promises to buy me a Starbucks coffee. I usually get Starbucks in the GN in LV, so if mickey wants to bribe me into a Johnson City appearance, a Johnson City Starbucks coffee should do it.

Now as to topics. I will field any and all questions, don't need to know them in advance, although an advanced questions list is how things are usually done. If mickey wants me to answer non-scripted questions spontaneously, which nobody does any more, he'll need to kick in a danish to go with the coffee. I prefer Raspberry.

If Todd has particular dates in mind, I'll try to synch up an LV trip to those dates. Flying cross-country is easier than cleaning up my desk.

Back to March Madness, prepping for the UFL, and your regularly scheduled programming.

P.S. I have not absolutely verified this, but my screenwriting partner, Dennison (the dude who was in The Art Thief movie last year and was assistant director), has a friend in LV who is allegedly living with a bit of a celebrity. Now I doubt I can swing that particular location for a podcast appearance, but it may be possible, just barely possible, and it would blow your minds. I will call Dennison and see if there's any chance in hell of pulling that off.

P.S.S. And mickey, you of course are invited.

Ray Bradbury's desk has a remarkable resemblance to mine. We must have the same interior decorator.

I love how he instantly starts throwing up all these weird roadblocks. Same shit he did previously.

Complete with trying to name-drop the owners of the house his friend lives in. As if Film/TV people aren't a dime a dozen to begin with, Redietz compounds the embarassment.

    What a joke.

A cup of coffee is a road block?

I would be interested in asking some unscripted questions. I would even be willing to answer some. I'll do better than coffee and a Danish. A full meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner.

You didn't read the rest of the post, you incredibly dim-witted miserable old fuck.

If Redietz needs $10 to go on the podcast then it can clearly be made to happen. He's the one who talked about it so much prior.

talk the talk but wont walk the walk and all that.

Now it needs 5 things to line up and an involvement with a 3rd party no one that is not involved in any of it.

Same ol same ol. (From both of you)

The location was a suggestion, not a roadblock, you clueless dork.

LOL. Coach, they want $4.95 for a small!

Imagine how they mark up the Danish.

Axelwolf would be welcome, as long as he mentions Shackleford's parlayin' calcoooolator so we can discuss it.

Honestly, can you imagine a coffee and Danish as roadblocks in someone's mind?

Imagine the horror if I demanded scrambled eggs! And toast!

Not an alternate plan. You publicly agreed to be on PokerFraudAlert Radio before you lied to us about Munchkin's podcast. Druff said he would be glad to have you on.

Also, I'm not part of the negotiations. You'll have to panhandle a cup of coffee from Druff. Because he is the one you have to negotiate with.

From what I know about Druff's radio show he doesn't care where you are when you do the interview as everything is done remotely. He will be broadcasting from his home in an undisclosed location in southern California. He does his interviews over Zoom or Google Meet or the phone or whatever. He doesn't invite people to his home for interviews. It's not necessary in today's high tech world, but apparently you folks in the Appalachians don't know it yet.

Instead of flying to Las Vegas for the interview perhaps you could fly to Astana, Kazakhstan instead. You could get in some great sight seeing while being interviewed. But if you really prefer your friend's place in Las Vegas just make sure to tell him to set up Zoom or Google Meet so you can connect with Druff in southern California.
Druff, let us know when you receive redietz’ credit score.

I would absolutely discuss his calculator, I would give my opinion, give an example of how it was useful, and get a quote from him. Feel free to ask me something now if you have any questions for him.

How about a surprise expert call-in? How about some questions from call-ins or emails?

Here is the problem with anyone who is "well known"...a following on YouTube, Twitter, a website, podcast, etc...They don't ever want to call people out or disagree with them.

I.E. Todd/Danfruff might think you, me or someone else is an idiot but it's not often he would say that.

Fyi, I will have to be remote via, phone, zoom, facetime, or whatever else they use nowadays as I have been traveling (I put in 4000 + miles in less than a month and I'm still going)

Looking for the perfect 2nd Riverfront property, I just put in an offer and hope to have over 150 AC, but who knows what I'll end up with as I also saw a wonderful place that was was 1 AC with the best trout fishing imaginable.

Been a long time, decades, since I was trout fishing. Central Pennsylvania had some of the best spots. Bobby Knight used to visit Centre County during his off-season just for the fishing, and he could have gone anywhere in the world. I went every year with my dad until, of course, I "grew up" at driving age.

Some information about the show and redietz's potential appearance:

    1) Yes, I'd be glad to have him on.

    2) Yes, AxelWolf would be welcome to come on. In fact, he even co-hosted the show once in the past.

    3) This would actually HAVE to be remote. As embarrassing as it is to admit, I do not have the setup for an in-person show. I only have one set of headphones, and even if I bought more, I do not have a control board which takes more than one pair to be plugged in! It would be nice if we could do it before May 5, because that's when Skype is going away, and it's easiest to do this stuff on Skype, because everyone sounds clear as if they're in the same room as me.

    4) This is an audio-only show. Everyone can stay in their underwear.

Stop all the nonsense. If red does finally make an "appearance" it'll be a letdown compared to what's expected--unless the show is known for its guests taking side-snippets of conversations and meandering off on tangents that are just nervous distractions. Salesmen often do this, although I'm not saying I know what he does any more because I don't really follow him.

Rather, I'd MUCH more prefer to hear about axel's travels, land and fishing.

    Who wears underwear?

Didn't know Skype was going away May 5, but I'm generally uninformed. Glad to know I can sit in my underwear, although that would be a bummer as I would rotate through a bunch of vintage Vegas stuff if visual. Sweater from the original Castaways football contest (forerunner to the LV Hilton way back when 1K meant something) and some Barbary or Stardust gear. Let me get clear of the first week or two of the UFL and we'll set it up.

I'll see if I can schedule an LV trip anyway, for an authentic locale. Axel, if he's not traveling, is welcome to hunker down wherever I stay (probably Nugget or Tuscany). Mickey is welcome -- he can have his own room so I don't see him in his underwear. Rob can pay twice as much and stay at Circa, but since mickey is buying everyone's coffee and Danish, Rob can head across the street for breakfast at Starbucks, as long as it's on mickey. It'll be like an LVA get together, only sick and depraved. No chicken nugget contests, though. Unlike WoV, we take our gambling seriously.

Rob's wife can stay with Axel and me, just to give her a break.

Todd, if you have vastly preferable dates to do this, just let me know and plug them in. I'll work around those dates. If the LV excursion doesn't come together, I'll do it from here. Rob knows the location here, as his in-laws lived in Asheville an hour up the road, which I fly out of about a third of the time these days.

And mickey, Axel, I'm serious. I'll plug in your room for a couple of nights at the GN if you make the excursion. Rob would be slumming at the GN, so I'm sure he'd turn it down. Rob, I'm sure, is more of a Biltmore Estate (Asheville) kind of guy. Out of my price range most days.

Did I miss anyone? Oh yeah, MDawg is welcome, although he'd be slumming, too. And monet lives there. And account. LOL. Account can stay on his own dime. I'm cheap that way.

Unfortunately, I have only had time to fish one time for about an hour while testing the fishing on a piece of property I was interested in. The fishing was okay, however, I didn't like the look and feel of the creek's softer dark soil, so I moved on.

The rest of my time has been spent on Zillow, driving, exploring land, looking at flood reports, calling PUDs for estimates, and putting in offers.

I got stuck in the mud 4 times now out in rural areas. 3 of those times I was fortunate enough to quickly find someone with a big 4-wheel drive and chains.

One time, I had to dig and lay branches to get unstuck. My poor Wife gets nervous thinking I'm going to tip over the van each time.

It's frustrating buying riverfront, just when you think you found the perfect place and then you find out there's an issue such as flooding, you can't build or it's impractical to get power or access.

I'll be up at 4 a.m. and see a great deal on something perfect that just came on the market within hours. I know it's going to go fast so I call up super early to put in an offer and somehow they are already pending(probably a neighbor or something who knows the sellers) I missed out on some good opportunities. Stuff I know is worth 30%-50% above asking.

I hope to be fishing and hunting daily very soon. I'm anxiously waiting to see if the owners accept my offer. Im doubtful and I think they will counter but who knows? Im willing to pay 23% more than I offered.
