Each archived radio show has a list of topics discussed:

I only listened for 10 minutes or so, but Druff did a good job keeping Axel quiet.

I can understand why red is opposed to a phone-in interview.

Anything that keeps my gut off camera is a plus for me. Anything that keeps my face off camera is a plus for everyone else.

Your gut is on the inside. Your belly is on the outside, and keeps your gut off camera.

You are, of course, correct. Belly, however, seems like such a nice term for something I hate, which is due to their being too much of it. I need a term of disdain. I will endeavor to find one.

    Maybe "KewlJs?"

    Go to 3:46:59

Axel was already on at that point, but I start describing then who he is. He stays on for several hours. Some of the topics might bore you at this point, as they are 5 years old and mostly irrelevant now.

Oh, and I don't have a preferred date for the show. I just don't do it as much anymore as I used to.

But I'll let you know soon regarding some possible dates.

Sounds good. I think I've got about as much handle on the UFL as I'm likely to get, so I'm not going to squint at them trying to come up with plays that aren't there. I won the lead half of two teasers opening week, so that doesn't count as anything (the bets sit open), but I seem to halfway know what I'm looking at. So, to quote Al Bundy, I'm ready to rock.

Let me know what I need on this end -- Skype or whatever. If you yourself can see the camera on this end, let me know and I'll try to keep you entertained with occasional costume changes. If not, that's fine.

If you want to provide topics or questions in advance, great. If not, that's fine, too.

If the broadcast is going to be lengthy and you want additional comic relief, I might be able to provide a sociologist or two and my filmmaking friend, James Dennison, who had lunch with Munchkin and myself and who is a walking encyclopedia of La Cosa knowledge. Dennison was second assistant director on 2023's The Art Thief, which you can currently watch on Tubi or other streaming services.

That's it. If at any time you want me in LV for this, I will endeavor to make the trip. I think air mile rates are currently pretty reasonable so I can probably swing it on short notice without breaking the bank.

    Thanks.

Since you obviously haven’t figured it out….Druff doesn’t do in-person interviews.
Druff, let us know when you receive redietz’ credit score.

Thanks for the tip, mickey. But I was offering to do the not-in-person interview from Las Vegas anyway, if that would make for a better broadcast.

Thanks, anyway, for helping with the interview process. Much appreciated.

Bro absolutely no one gives a fuck if you are in LV while on a podcast.

What fucking drugs are you on?

What fucking drugs are you on?
I appreciate the question. Currently I am taking a statin for high cholesterol. About once a month, I will take an aspirin for sinus pressure. Other than that, no drugs.

Since the podcast is not visual, I can appreciate that my traveling to Las Vegas could be considered unnecessary, but I felt in the interests of those folks who might want to debunk me, they could sit in my hotel room and join me in person as opposed to calling in, which seems so impersonal. I would even splurge on a Starbucks coffee for them, which can go for up to six dollars downtown, in case they were in danger of falling asleep due to my sonorous tones.

Since many VCT readers are from LV or California, I was actually trying to facilitate team camaraderie, as in this Forbes article.

    https://www.forbes.com/councils/forb...m-camaraderie/

Consider, for a moment, the synergy gained by having Axelwolf, account, and KewlJ(s) all in one room. The psychic energy would be off the charts, as would the IQ scores. Now in which direction they might be off the charts is debatable, but the conversation would still be one for the gambling ages. And surely their combined wisdom would provide a startling contrast to my aged and glacial mind.

Weren't you talking about changing outfits and shit mid-show? You want us to literally sit around while you change dresses?

AGAIN - what is the full list of drugs are you on?

"debunk" you? The only real disagreement here is that you mock me for using terms that seem to have been widely adopted by professional sports bettors for decades now. Whether sharp lines or EV. I've also questioned your insistence that beating contests translates into beating cash game. (IT DOESN'T) The KEY REASON IS YOU NEED TO KNOW WHEN NOT TO BET TOO. You don't understand the concept of EV in relation to sports so this all flies right over your head.

Why would I want to debunk some dude living in a mediocre house in bumfuck TN who seems to still be looking for investors after some stellar performance record going back 40+ years?!? There is no debunking to be done. I'm on the side of right along with every other professional cash game bettor.

Actually I heard that East Bumblefuck Tennessee has been a hot area for professional sports bettors.

Mainly because of a low cost of living, legal online sports betting, & no state income tax.

Also East Bumblefuck Tennessee is close to other states with legal sports betting like Virginia, West Virginia, and Mississippi, so bettors can work promotions & line shop.

Plus can’t really fault the guy for wanting to do the show from Vegas.

If you lived in East Bumblefuck Tennessee wouldn’t you be motivated to get out to Vegas once in a while?

I was looking for East Bumblefuck on a local map, but couldn't find it. Went to AAA and bought a year-old road atlas for four bucks, thinking that might help, but no luck.

I appreciate your concern; I too like to get to Las Vegas as often as possible, even living in a city like Johnson City, that has made many top 20 and 50 places to live in the US of A.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/usa-today...es-to-relocate

    https://www.johnsoncitypress.com/new...d558a9232.html

    https://www.homesbytaber.com/blog/50...es-to-relocate

Like you, I find these articles tend to flatter Johnson City way too much. The pollen counts here, for instance, can be terrible.

Interestingly, the state in which I grew up was a hot bed for professional handicappers and sports bettors. Gridiron Report, run by the late Dave Malinsky (a regular in Gaming Today) lived down the road from me, as did Donn Wagner of Alleghenies Analysis. In addition, the venerable, unmatchable James Vaccaro, the South Point legend, is from Pittsburgh. Probably something in the water -- we had a lot of rust-colored streams from the strip mining.

Thanks for your corroboration that these top 50 and top 20 where-to-live rankings can be crap. I appreciate it.

I am surprised that so many people confuse East Bumblefuck (undoubtedly from some famous novel, since it's not in the $4 atlas) with Johnson City. I'm sure East Bumblefuck has lower pollen counts, which is really all I care about. It's as I always say, "Research is the first refuge of the incompetent."

Yes, if we want to look at it from his context then sure, you're totally right? I'm headed to LV here for a few days and I really am so meh about the whole idea. Unfortunately women like it. Had it booked pre-gf and now she wants me to go again for a concert. ugh. What I will have to do for love.

So as usual Redietz and I are totally opposite. Praise Heaven.

    Cute, now try this one:
