I could use your defense and say I mis-remembered, I am opining or my source told me this... But I think I'll just post your own words.

After winning jackpots on the $25 machines and seeing the tax consequences as a schedule A filer, I clearly explained that I would no longer be posting big jackpots that get people like you so jealous, because I would no longer be playing anything higher than $2.

Those controversial dates/time stamps were because I used an old digital camera that I put a picture up of back then--the type that needed to be reset when batteries were changed.

Guess Alan forgot to reset the date on this forum, or change the batteries...

I still play, but it's maybe once every 10 days and for 90 minutes tops. In other words, recreationally and without goals or any real meaning--and nothing over $2. The days of sweating it out at the $10, $25 & $100 machines are over for me.

Well, because of my recent big win at another Harrahs property and just as I predicted, I received a slew of offers already. One of them was a free flight for two to Harrahs in New Orleans! We just returned and I couldn't WAIT to show everyone the good news (again)! Another two sessions of five-level, $1 thru $25 ARTT. First session, a loss of $9445; Second session, a profit of $41,265. And for those mathematically challenged (or for those psychologically agitated ) that's a cool +$31,820!!

Until Alan confirms that Rob posted under someone else's name, then this remains an allegation, and cannot be considered a lie.

Old Rob said years ago that he never plays VP over $2 any longer, but later posts jackpots he won on $25 VP machines.

In 2011 he said that he didn't play over $2, then in 2014 he played @ $25.
When are you suggesting that he lied...in 2011 or 2014?
Seems to me that he simply changed his mind in 2014 and played @ higher stakes.

Dan Druff provides proof via date and time stamps that Old Rob did not win jackpots when he says he did.

Apparently Dan's "proof" has little to no evidential value, he hasn't proved anything, so this does not meet the standard for a lie.

New Rob says Old Rob was a fabricated online persona. Alan himself confirms it was all an act. Doesn't that cast doubt on everything Old Rob posted?

And people can rotate IP addresses on a month to month basis and own multiple IP addresses from the same physical location, so nobody who really wants to post as anyone else is going to be caught by an IP address these days.

If I recall Rob had a friend at the RV resort who Rob asked to post certain comments. They shared the same IP address at the RV resort. For all we know there could have been a business center they both used for Internet access.

How do you prove they were one and the same? I don't know.
